Owners of Multi-Family Residences

Secure, covered bike parking is, for many tenants, as desirable an amenity as covered car parking. Make your property stand out with this valuable but uncommon amenity.

For complexes with a high rate of college students, bike parking is an incredible opportunity for value-add. For many students, their bike is their primary vehicle and so they are highly incentivized to keep it safe. A property with secure bike parking has a strong advantage in catering to this market segment.

Any property with multi-story buildings will also find high value in adding ground-level, secure bike parking. When given the option, what tenant wouldn’t want to park their bike at ground level instead of dealing with the hassel and mess of carrying a dirty bike up stairs, through their unit, and onto their balcony.

Why Do My Tenants Need Bike Parking?

Bikes are both expensive (hundreds to thousands of dollars) and also anywhere from annoying to impossible to store in an apartment. Providing a place to lock a bike outside is therefore a must for any property owner trying to appeal to as many potential tenants as possible.

However, providing only a basic rack for your tenants to lock their bikes is not enough. Only locking to a rack doesn’t prevent a bike from being stripped of its parts and accessories, or from being damaged and vandalized, or from simply being exposed to sun, monsoons, and dust storms.

Fully covered bike parking is the gold standard for bike parking, and your potential tenants will know it.

Installation

Our bike parking solutions can be securely affixed to both concrete and asphalt surfaces. Our hardware is installed flush with the surface and will not leave any dangerous protruding bolts if the units were to ever be removed. This is especially important for installation in parking lots as our installation hardware is completely safe for car tires.

Dimensions

Each unit fits up to two bikes and a standard size parking space can fit five to six units. In other words, exchanging just one parking space allows for ten to twelve bikes to be parked.

Why Lease?

Purchasing durable, secure, long-lasting bike parking solutions naturally require a large upfront investment and you may worry whether it will truly bring the desired value to your complex. By leasing from AZ Bike Parking Solutions, you minimize your upfront cost. Do a trial run and see if your tenants are interested. When you need more bike parking, lease more units.
